Privacy policy

This page explains what stays on your device, what the mobile advertising and purchase services may process, and how to manage your choices.

Who we are

Send Club is published by Baguette Studios Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 15856772). We are responsible for the app and this policy. You can contact us at jules@baguette-studios.dev.

Game progress stays on your device

The game stores your save locally. It includes progress such as your in-game day and location, stats, inventory, virtual cash, completed routes, and when the vending machine last sold a can. The app also stores a small local ad-history record to manage when a sleep ad may appear. We do not require a game account, and the game does not send this save to a Baguette Studios game server.

You can remove local game data through your device’s app-data controls or by uninstalling the app. Removing app data may erase your progress. A store purchase can usually be restored with the same store account using the app’s Restore purchases control.

The app loads typefaces from Google Fonts. Requests for those font files and stylesheets can send Google technical information such as your IP address and browser or device details. See Google’s Privacy Policy for how Google handles that information.

Mobile ads and privacy choices

The mobile app uses Google Mobile Ads to show an ad after some in-game sleeps and to offer an optional rewarded ad before buying a Send Surge can from the gym vending machine. Watching the rewarded ad does not give a free can: a completed ad allows one purchase for $3 of virtual in-game cash, subject to the machine’s daily stock. Closing the ad early does not spend that cash or stock.

Google and its advertising partners may process information needed to request, deliver, measure, and protect ads. Depending on your device, region, and choices, this can include IP address, app and device information, ad interactions, and identifiers such as a mobile advertising or SDK identifier. Google’s User Messaging Platform asks for consent where required and may show a privacy-options control in the app so you can revisit your choice. Ads are requested only when that platform reports they can be requested.

The optional Remove Ads purchase suppresses the game’s sleep and rewarded-ad placements. It does not turn the purchase service off, and we do not promise that the advertising SDK performs no technical processing after purchase. For details of Google’s processing, see Google’s Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.

Remove Ads purchase

On mobile, the one-time Remove Ads purchase is handled by Apple App Store or Google Play and verified through RevenueCat. The store processes payment details; Baguette Studios does not receive your full card number. RevenueCat uses an anonymous app user ID for this installation and processes purchase history, transaction or receipt information, and technical device information to verify and restore the entitlement. The app checks the verified entitlement before removing ads. Virtual Send Surge cans still cost in-game cash after Remove Ads.

See RevenueCat’s Privacy Policy and your store’s privacy information for their handling of transaction data.

Why data is used, who receives it, and how long it lasts

Local save data supports gameplay. Ad data supports ad delivery, consent choices, measurement, and fraud prevention. Purchase data supports billing, entitlement verification, restoration, and required records. We use consent for advertising-related processing where the law requires it; purchase processing is necessary to provide the paid feature. Technical processing may also be needed to operate and protect these services.

Game progress and the app’s ad-history record stay on your device until you clear app data or remove the app. Google, RevenueCat, and the app stores keep information under their own policies and legal obligations; their retention periods may differ. They may process data outside the UK under their applicable transfer safeguards. We do not sell your local game save or add a separate in-game analytics service.

This privacy-policy website does not add analytics scripts or advertising tags. Its hosting provider receives technical requests such as your IP address and may set security cookies to deliver and protect the page. Following an external link takes you to that provider’s site.

Your choices and rights

  • Choose whether to watch a rewarded ad; you can close it without spending virtual cash.
  • Where the app shows Ad privacy options, use it to revisit the consent choices offered by Google’s platform.
  • Use Restore purchases with the same store account if you need to recover Remove Ads.
  • Clear the app’s local data through your device settings to remove the local save and ad-history record.

Depending on where you live and the circumstances, you may have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict, or object to processing of personal data, and to complain to a data-protection authority. Contact us for requests relating to Send Club. For data held directly by Google, RevenueCat, or your app store, their privacy controls and policies may also apply. If you are in the UK, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
